RADINA (Vocal Coach, Voice & Speech Coach, Simply Music Piano Coach, Owner)

Vocals on Stage (About)Radina is a dedicated vocal coach, singer, songwriter and artist. At the age of six, she started playing cello but soon, the instrument voice became her main passion. Since 2001, Radina has studied different vocal techniques. She was first trained at the Unique Voice Studios – a private school for contemporary music and studied jazz vocals at the Prayner Conservatory in Vienna. For years she has studied with different mix singing teachers and private vocal coaches Romana Caren Lakinger, Sandy Cressman, Monika Ballwein and others and has been mentored by the renowned vocal coach Rocio Guitard in the Bay area, CA. Radina holds a Master of Science Degree from the University of Vienna and speaks English, German, Bulgarian and French. She is an associate teacher and member of IVTOM – International Voice Teachers of Mix. IVTOM is a  non-profit organization and network of like minded teachers of mix singing who continually strive to be the best in their field.

Radina is also known as songwriter and front singer of the award winning and internationally touring electronic music duo Fatmagic and therefor knows the demands and needs for a healthy vocal technique for performers and any singer in general; hobbyist and professional. She helps her students to achieve their goals and become the best singers they can be. Radina constantly perfects her vocal education and performing techniques, and always tries to challenge herself to provide up to date first row information to her students. She teaches contemporary music, Pop, Dance, Rock, Soul, Blues, Jazz, R’n’B, Country and Musical. For the past 9 years Radina has been working as a vocal coach in Vienna, San Francisco and Los Angeles, giving private and group lessons and founded the vocal program Vocals-on-Stage in 2010.  Her clients range from complete beginners to touring artists, boy bands, a cappella groups, solo artists, choir member, musical theater singers of all ages and backgrounds. Vocals-on-Stage is based in Los Angeles and lessons can be booked at two different studio locations.

SHERANDO (Voice Over & Character Acting Coach, Accent Reduction Coach)

Sherando Ferril-Cupid has dominated the Caribbean market as an award winning actress on stage, television and in voice-over, a producer/presenter for radio and television programs as well as a writer and director. She has also been responsible for training some of Jamaica’s leading voice, stage, television and film actors and presenters. Her performing credits include the movie Ghetta Life, television drama Real Friends, Traxx, Lime Tree Lane, and host on the reality series The Anchor, and morning talk show CVM at Sunrise, as well as her own radio show for 8 years on the leading radio station in Jamaica. For the past fifteen years Sherando’s voice, has been providing weekly entertainment on one of the most popular local radio dramas, Power Connection. Ferril- Cupid, writes the episodes, cast, produces and directs while voicing the main character. She has numerous international stage credits three for which she was nominated for best actress in the Actor Boy Awards (Jamaican version of the Tony Awards). Additional international credits include voice overs, TV commercials and films.  To date she has voiced hundreds of radio and TV commercials as well as radio dramas most of which she wrote and produced as well.

Sherando also lecturers at the New York film Academy where she teaches actors, filmmakers and producers in various film related courses as well as media and broadcast journalism.  

MARKUS (Guitar, Piano, Ukulele, Songwriting Coach)

Markus is multi-faceted and multi-talented as a guitarist, composer and producer in many genres of music. At the age of 16, one of the youngest guitar students ever accepted at the University for Music and Arts Graz (Austria), he soon played in venues throughout the world. Performances include TV appereances like Barcelona-TV (Spain) or live radio broadcasts such as “Lets Spend A Night Together“. He has been teaching for more then 19 years with students of all ages. The double BA/MA graduate of guitar from 2 universities in Austria and Spain has worked successfully within several facets of the music industry and combines his knowledge of music with his passion for teaching. He is creating a learning environment with the open exploration of ideas, a relationship in which students feel respected as well as challenged.
